Welcome customers and identify their technology needs.
Explain and promote Nova Tech’s products and services.
Assist with sales of computers, accessories, CCTV systems and other technology products.
Promote IT support, website development, software and installation services.
Respond to customer enquiries through telephone, email, Facebook and other communication channels.
Prepare quotations, sales orders and invoices when required.
Follow up quotations, enquiries and prospective customers.
Contact businesses and organisations to introduce Nova Tech’s services.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations and sales activities.
Keep product displays and the customer area clean and presentable.
Assist with stock checks, product labelling and pricing.
Work with the technical and administration teams to coordinate customer jobs.
Help prepare sales promotions, campaigns and product advertisements.
Meet individual and company sales targets.
Provide professional after-sales support and follow up with customers.
Perform other reasonable sales and customer-service duties as required.
Requirements:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Confident and professional when dealing with customers.
Friendly, respectful and willing to assist people.
Basic knowledge of computers and technology products.
Willingness to learn about CCTV, software, websites and Nova Tech’s other services.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Honest, punctual, reliable and presentable.
Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, email and social media.
Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service would be an advantage.
A valid driver’s licence would be an advantage.
